This happy go lucky view of small town vice and statewide political side-stepping recounts the good times and the demise of the Chicken Ranch, one of the better pleasure palaces in all of Texas. Governors, senators, and even victorious college football teams frequent Miss Mona's until that puritan nemesis Watchdog focuses his television cameras and his righteous indignation on the institution.

Director Deb Flomberg's cast includes Boni McIntyre (Miss Mona), Scott Bellot (Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd), Chris Gallegos (Melvin P. Thorpe), Lauren Cora Marsh (Shy), Rachelle Wood (Angel), Michael Greening (Senator Wigwoah), Patrick Brownson (Governor), Shahara Ostrand (Doatsy Mae), Lisa Young (Jewell), Jenny Weiss (Dawn), Nicole Giordano (Linda Lou), Joanna Hickam (Ruby Rae), Kate Blair (Beatrice/Imogene), Stephanie Schmidt (Ginger), Donovan Arterburn (Mayor Rufus), Arthur Pierce (Edsel Mackey) and Clint Heyn (CJ Scruggs). The Aggies/Cowboys are played by David Ballew, Preston Britton, Ryan Everett Howard (Bandleader/Aggie), Chachi Martin, Christian Munck and Zack Nick.

Carol Hall wrote both music and lyrics for the Tony-winning The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and contributed to Sesame Street, A...My Name is Alice, and the landmark children’s classic Free to Be You and Me.
